For over 12 years, the founders of CAD Affiliates have been exclusively involved in the distribution / sale, and to a smaller degree, the support of hardware and software products to the Large Format Technical Imaging Market.  CADA operates as a Distributor for most of the product lines that they represent and sell through a conventional Dealer/Reseller channel, as well as thru affiliates to end-users/consumers.  To a smaller degree, CADA sells to end-users through third-party referrals, but most end-user sales have been made through direct contact by an affiliate.
 

CADA is recognized in the Technical Imaging Industry, and specifically in the engineering market, as a supplier of “Best of Class” products with specific expertise in Large Format Technical Imaging.  CADA has well-established relationships with their Suppliers and is often called upon to assist in the establishment of market strategy and the development plans of those Suppliers.
 

It is important to note that this sales and distribution effort has been maintained on an exclusive basis.  CADA has always resisted a tendency in the technical imaging industry to establish a scanning and conversion service bureau, and although CADA has been involved in providing installation and training services, these services have only been offered to the customers of CADA, as part of a solution purchase.
 

It has always been the goal of CADA to remain focused on a manageable product line.  CADA has only offered products considered part of a technical imaging solution suite that are complimentary to the balance of the product line.  These products have included “market leading” products that are known in the industry to be viable solutions for both the A/E/C and Engineering markets, and to a smaller degree, the GIS market.
 

The primary hardware products are large format scanners. The primary software products include EDM solutions, data indexing and viewing products, both AutoCAD and Windows based raster editing and conversion software, and plotting and color solutions.
 

CADA maintains an established Reseller Channel for these products.  Above average discounts, combined with sales and technical support is provided to stimulate the indirect sales effort.
 

CADA has supports and attends National Trade Shows.  These efforts have been made with the cooperation of their Suppliers and have been used by CADA as a means of establishing a “national presence”.  It has always been the policy of CADA to support the promotional efforts of their Suppliers.
